Assignment 18A - Create a Customer Avatar

Customer Avatar:
Becky, a bored sorority girl in the average college classroom.

What kind of hobbies does your customer have? Becky enjoys hanging out with her friends in their sorority house, putting stickers on her laptop, and wearing Comfort Colors t-shirts.

What kind of car do they tend to drive? (What color is it?)Becky doesn't drive a car, instead she navigates her way through Gainesville on a scooter. It is pink.

What TV shows do they watch? The Office, Grey's Anatomy, The Bachelor, Gossip Girl, Friends, One Tree Hill

What are their favorite books? The Notebook, If I Stay, The Fault in Our Stars

Who are their favorite politicians? Declined to answer.

How old are they? 19

How old do they feel? 21

Conclusion
In creating my customer avatar, I realized that I have almost nothing in common with my customer avatar. My customer avatar is the complete opposite of me, but that's because I want this particular customer to appreciate the gift of knowledge through the use of technology on a deeper level. You could say that I have the same level of boredom displayed in the average class time as my customer avatar. This is because we both understand that modern day classrooms are lacking in resources that could enhance our learning experiences and elevate us to a whole new level of learning not previously achieved through traditional means.

  1. Hey Karina!
I actually think that your avatar is definitely the perfect customer for your product. I also think how its so nice that the customer doesn't identify with you because that means that you can also solve problems that matter to people outside of your circle. Great post!

  2. Hey Karina,

First of all, the name of your blog is very comic, I love it. I think your post was very laconic and precise. I can totally picture your avatar description in real life, I think it accounts for a large proportion of the UF population. Hence, I think you have a solid market for your product. Great content, keep it up.
